The Standard Easy Tunnel Protective Cloth is the "perfect portable greenhouse" for gardeners in warm, dry, or rainy climates, allowing them to carry tender plants through rough weather. This all-in-one polyethylene solution eliminates the need for fiddling with steel hoops, loose row cover, anchors, and ties.
The Standard Net Easy Tunnel extends 9.8 feet long, 18 inches wide, and 12 inches high. Its UV-stabilized, high-density 5mm polypropylene mesh is heavyweight and durable enough to last season after season, yet porous enough to admit enough light and air to keep plants healthy without subjecting them to the full impact of the elements.
The galvanized steel hoops fixed onto the netting sink into the soil at spaced intervals, anchoring the Easy Tunnel in place. Though easily manipulable, these hoops are strong enough to withstand very severe rain and wind.
Both ends of the Easy Tunnel feature drawstrings that can be pulled tight for more protection, left open for more air circulation, or even tied to another Haxnicks tunnel to protect a longer row.
In addition to the Standard Net Easy Tunnel, Park Seed offers the Standard Fleece Easy Tunnel, which features a modern update to the traditional row cover, and the Standard Poly Easy Tunnel, designed for late winter and early spring when the soil is cold and late frosts keep gardeners from getting their gardens going.
